Managing Your Subscription

How billing works, when charges begin, and how to update or cancel

Managing your subscription should feel clear and predictable. Your account shows your trial status, renewal timing, and billing details in one place. There are no hidden fees, no automatic charges during the trial, and no long-term commitments.

You remain in control at every step. You can activate paid service, update your payment method, pause billing, or cancel through your account settings. All billing is handled securely, and changes apply immediately once confirmed.

The Free Trial: What to Expect

Satori begins with a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. During this period, you receive full access to forecasts, alerts, and monitoring services.

On the day you sign up, you’ll receive a confirmation email and text message showing the exact date your trial ends. Two days before the trial concludes, you’ll receive a reminder by email and SMS with a secure link to continue the service. You’ll receive a final reminder one day before the trial ends.

If you choose not to continue, no action is required. Monitoring, alerts, and forecasts will automatically stop exactly 14 days after your trial begins. There are no charges unless you actively enroll in the paid plan.

Activating Paid Service

To continue after the trial, use the secure link provided in your reminder message. Payment is processed through Stripe, a trusted and secure payment platform that protects your financial information.

Once enrolled, billing occurs every 30 days based on the date you activate the paid service. For example, if you activate on the 15th, future charges will process every 30 days from that date.

Each successful charge generates a receipt sent to the email associated with your account. There are no additional or mid-cycle fees beyond the standard 30-day renewal for our primary service.

Updating Your Payment Method

You can update your payment method at any time. Access your account using the secure magic link login, then navigate to Account Settings and select Manage Billing.

From there, you’ll be directed to your secure Stripe billing portal. You can update your credit card, review billing history, or confirm your renewal date. Changes take effect immediately once saved.

If a payment method expires or fails, updating your card promptly ensures uninterrupted service.

Pausing or Canceling Your Subscription

Subscription management is handled in the same Manage Billing section of your account. You may pause billing at the end of your current 30-day cycle or cancel your service entirely.

If you cancel, monitoring and alerts will remain active through the end of the current billing period. There are no partial refunds for unused time within an active cycle.

If you choose not to activate paid service after your trial, the system will automatically stop at the 14-day mark with no charges.

Billing follows a consistent 30-day renewal schedule unless you pause or cancel through your account settings.

Refund Policy

The 14-day free trial is the evaluation period for Satori. Because no payment method is required to begin, you can explore the service without being charged.

Once you activate the paid subscription, billing occurs in 30-day cycles. Charges are non-refundable after a billing cycle begins. If you cancel, your monitoring and alerts will remain active through the end of the current 30-day period, and no future charges will be processed.

If you believe you were charged in error or experienced a billing issue, contact support using the email associated with your account. Billing concerns are reviewed individually to ensure accuracy.

All subscription controls—including activation, cancellation, and payment updates—are available through the Manage Billing section of your account.
